My new book—pfft, that sounds like I had others. Me, write? It was totally laughable. I don’t think I’d ever written more than what was required for my university essays. The poetry I’d written over the years were … obviously poems, short and to the point. But looking back now I might concede there’s some sort of magic in that stone and if you ever get the chance, pucker up and hold on tight.
